An evergreen hybrid shrub growing upright and rounded to 7' tall and 8-10' wide. Foliage is dark green. A female selection producing fleshy, red, aril covered seed cones in summer. Winter hardy but breaks dormancy early and may be damaged by late spring freezes. Best used in the border or as a specimen.
