Comments: An unusual deciduous shrub, typically a dieback that’s related to buttonbush. Cut back each year you can expect it to be about 3' by 3' by end of year. The small leaves in summer are very glossy. Flowers in late summer with small, round white clusters that resemble small "sputniks."
