Comments: A wide and dense-growing, deciduous shrub. Lavender-pink flowers appear in early June. It is one of the parents of the Preston hybrid group and grows to 8-12' in height with a similar width in a rounded outline. The annual growth rate is 12-18". This is a good plant for backgrounds, hedges or mass plantings. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil.
