Comments: A large conifer averaging 60' tall by 30' wide. A narrow, conical tree when young, but later becoming irregular in outline. Needles grouped three per bundle, 10" in length, yellow-green to dark green. Cones occur singly or in groups of 3-5, 3-6" long with sharply pointed prickles on the bracts. Use as a screen or background plant. Site in full sun, well-drained soil.
