Comments:
An attractive, small to medium tree averaging 25-40' tall. Has dark green summer foliage and attractive dark grayish brown shaggy bark. Handsome tree for lawns, parks, golf courses, naturalized areas, and even streets. Best in full sun or part shade in moist, well-drained acid soil. Tolerates dry or gravelly soil.
