Comments: A large, rounded, deciduous tree, attaining 50-80' tall with similar spread. Bark is ash-gray to gray-brown and furrows into diamond-shaped ridges with age. Fall color is yellow, changing to deep purple and maroon. Some trees retain all yellow fall color; others a mix; still others all purple. A fine shade tree. Easy to transplant and pH adaptable. Susceptible to leaf spot, fall webworm, Emerald Ash Borer and ash decline.
