Comments: Very large deciduous tree maturing at 100' high and 60' wide in the wild; less in cultivation. Produces a rounded, spreading crown of dark green foliage. Smooth pale bark is covered by obovate small leaves, which turn rich golden or yellowish brown in fall. Excellent shade tree if given plenty of room to grow.
