Comments: A deciduous shade tree that grows 50' tall and wide. Attractive dark green leaves are 3-5" long and wide with 3-5 lobes. Flowers are small, yellow-green, appearing in early spring. Bark is grayish brown, corky on younger stems, becoming scaly on mature trunks. In the landscape it works well as a small to medium size shade tree with an oval rounded habit. Fall color is a beautiful golden-yellow.
