Comments:
This deciduous tree can grow to 70' tall, but more commonly matures between 30-40'. Young leaves are light green, becoming dark green by midsummer. Flowers are insignificant. One-inch-long winged fruits (samaras) are held opposite one another. Has long been featured in clipped screens or hedgerows.
