Comments: This native, deciduous tree will reach 90' in height; a very fast grower. Leaves are bright green in summer, the shape resembling a tulip. Fall color is golden yellow. Flowers are greenish yellow with an orange center and appear in May or early June. Fruits are a cone-like aggregate of samaras, 2-3" long. They turn brown in October and persist through the winter. A nice specimen tree but needs plenty of room.
