Comments: Pacific Purple vine maple is a new introduction discovered by J. Frank Schmidt III (Boring, OR). This cultivar has bronze-green new growth in the spring that turns deep purple in summer and will hold its color all season long. In autumn, the leaves turn orange-bronze. The fruit is a purple winged samara. This tree has a multi-stemmed upright spreading habit growing 12 ft. tall and wide.
