Comments: A selection of a native evergreen to semi-evergreen broadleaf tree, 25-30' tall and 15-20' wide with an upright habit. This selection from Alex Neubauer is more upright and formal in habit with leaves that last long into winter, or possibly evergreen. Flowers are creamy white, 2-3" diameter, distinctly lemon scented and occur late May to early June, then produced sporadically throughout the summer. Clusters of bright red seed are produced in late summer.
