Comments: A delightful deciduous, multi-stemmed shrub eventually growing 10' tall and wide. Its strap-like, spicy-fragrant rose-purple flowers apear in February into March and help to dispel the winter doldrums. Fall color in cold seasons is reported to be reddish purple. Foliage is disease and insect free. Excellent used in a group, a summer screen or as a specimen.
