Comments: This is the European counterpart to our native hazelnut. This red foliaged and contorted selection is quite ornamental and holds its leaf color even into late summer. Contorted stems provide winter interest. Expect a 6-8' tall and 3-5' wide tree in 10 years. It is also reputedly resistant to Eastern Filbert Blight!
