Comments: Selection of native, deciduous tree that uniformly reaches 60' in height with upright oval, slightly compact habit. A very fast grower with a dominant central leader. Deep glossy green leaves in summer, the shape resembling a tulip. Fall color is clear yellow. Flowers are greenish yellow with orange center, appearing May or early June. A nice shade tree but needs plenty of room.
