Comments: A rare deciduous tree valued for its upright and narrowly growing habit. This plant matures to about 40' tall and probably half that in width. Foliage resembles its close cousin, the elm, being alternately borne, dark green, rough to the touch, 2-5" long and coarsely toothed along the margins.
