Comments: A deciduous shrub to 8' tall and wide taking on a vase-shaped habit. A densely branched shrub whose young shoots are light brown. Bark on older wood is gray brown. Leaves are opposite, simple, oval in outline with abruptly pointed tips. Funnel-shaped flowers occur in May with salmon pink petals. Flowers are numerous and bloom sporadically throughout summer.
