Comments: Grown primarily for its gray-green, airy foliage, this deciduous shrub is a unique plant for the shrub border. Small lilac-colored flowers are produced in July. The plant can die back to the ground in harsh winters but it springs back quickly. If the top survives long enough, it can reach 10' to 15' tall.
