Comments: A multi-stemmed, upright, arching deciduous shrub 10' tall and wide. Large, loose clusters of flowers open 2-3 weeks later than other Burkwood hybrids. Flower buds are bright pink, 4" across in late April/early May. Light green summer leaves unfold slightly before the flowers, measure 2" long, and change to maroon and orange in fall.
