A deciduous tree often selected for bonsai based on its rough, gray, corky bark produced when plants reach 8-10 years old. Light green leaves are 1½" long and turn bright yellow in fall. Literature indicates size at 20' tall and wide. A fast-growing, tough tree for a landscape specimen.
