A deciduous tree with vase-shaped growth habit attaining 40-50' in height and equal spread. Has deep green foliage in summer with red fall color. Excellent bark character, being a mottled brown with gray, orange, and green. Very graceful in appearance and superior to most other species of elm. US National Arboretum introduction.
