Comments: This selection is a slow-growing, twiggy, upright dwarf evergreen. Its slender branches are covered in small, glossy needles. It is described in literature as eventually becoming a small tree of irregular habit. Light shearing of branch tips will keep dense. Growth averages 2" per year. A 35-year-old plant was less than 20' tall and 10' wide. Use in the shady border or as a specimen or foundation plant.
