Comments: A medium-sized, deciduous tree discovered in England prior to 1888. It can grow 50' high and nearly as wide. A wonderful shade tree that provides interesting patterns of light and shadows in winter. It has young shoots that are unique in that they twist and twine like a corkscrew. Leaves are large and glossy green. Pale yellow flowers occur in early June.
