Comments: A large, vigorous, deciduous tree with a more open canopy than most lindens. Branches are thicker and produced less profusely giving the open appearance. Fast-growing into a broadly conical tree 50' tall and 30' wide. Foliage is glossy medium green and relished by Japanese beetles. Flowers are small but very fragrant in June-July. Fall color is yellow. Tolerant of dry sites and high pH. Great used as a shade tree.
