Comments: Tightly compact form growing to 40' tall with a spread of 10'. Leaves are soft to the touch, scale-like, glossy green above with distinct whitish marks beneath. Terminal shoots and all parts of the foliage are highly aromatic when crushed. Fruit is a cone, ripening brown in the fall. Bark on older specimens is reddish brown and splits into thick strips. Resistant to deer browsing.
