Comments: A native evergreen tree with narrow habit, branches strongly ascending, dense, foliage dark green even in winter. This selection was found in a Berlin cemetery in 1904. A nice evergreen up to 50' tall. Useful as a specimen or hedge in formal and semi-formal plantings. Deer browse resistant unlike eastern species.
