Comments: A selection first in commerce around 1930 but rarely seen today in the trade, This arborvitae clone is still a worthwhile cultivar for its dark green, scale like needles that retain excellent dark green color year-round. It grows tightly upright to about 25' tall but stays narrower than many forms, 6-8,' and serves as an excellent evergreen screen. Protect from deer browse in areas where populations of deer are high.
