Comments: A compact, narrowly conical evergreen that will grow 13' tall by 5' wide in almost 40 years. At The Dawes Arboretum young plants have pushed as much as 7.5" per year. Growth slows with age. Foliage is dense and coarse, dark green in summer and yellow-green in winter. This plant can be developed with a single trunk with just slight pruning while still young.
