Comments:
A witches'-broom discovered at the Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, KY. This witches'-broom is a slow-growing 2' tall and wide dwarf deciduous shrub that would make a good specimen or addition to a landscape bed. These are typically grafted high onto rootstocks to add ornamental appeal. The blue-green summer needles turn yellow-gold in fall. "Cypress knees" develop when planted in wet sites.
