Comments: A rare deciduous tree, 15-20' tall with a vase-shaped habit. Distinctive cinnamon-orange bark. Bright green summer leaves change to purple in autumn. Flowers produced in the leaf axils, fragrant, 2" wide (June). A fantastic specimen or accent tree. Fruits are a capsule, containing shiny, dark brown seeds.
