A broadleaf evergreen shrub, originally bred by the Shammarello Nursery in northern Ohio. Mature height is 4-5' tall and slightly wider. One of the best compact, hardy rhododendrons for Ohio. It’s dark, lustrous green leaves contrast nicely with the rich, rosy red flowers in late May.
