Comments:
A close relative to the Mongolian oak (Quercus mongolica). Leaves are dark green, short stalked, 2-4" long. Fall color may range from yellow to red. Fruit is a nut. Promises to be a sturdy shade tree for the collector of rarities. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil.
