Comments:
A dense upright branching shrub or small tree, 10-12' high and half as wide. Lustrous dark green leaves. Stems are attractive with peeling layers of shiny brown bark. Pink flowers emerge in April or May. Fall color is outstanding dark red. Fruit is not only an attractive 5-7" edible yellow pome, but is pleasantly fragrant as well. Plant in full sun in moist, well-drained, acid soil.
