Comments: An irregular, often struggling, shrub to 6-8' tall and wide. Noted for its 1/2-1" wide, edible blue fruits, and relished for its use in jams and jellies. Also attractive for its early May flowers which open white, 1/2" across, in profuse masses before the onset of foliage. Leaves are bluish green, 2-3" long, and may take on reddish orange fall color. Requires full sun, well-drained soil.
