Comments: A densely branched, spreading evergreen shrub to 3' tall by 5' wide. Grows only 2-4" per year. Fine, dark green winter color and cranberry colored new (candle) growth. Needles are 1-2" long, in bundles of two and twisted. A superior choice for the conifer garden. Subject to pine needle scale and sawfly damage, but otherwise quite adaptable to urban conditions.
