Comments: A rapid-growing evergreen tree to 40' tall with a loose, conical outline. Superior foliage consists of beautiful blue-green needles that persist for 3 years. Bark on young shoots is gray becoming gray to brown on older stems and peeling to reveal reddish underbark. Cones are short-stalked, brown when ripe and extremely resinous. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil.
