An evergreen large shrub that was found as a mutation from the commonly planted tanyosho pine. This selection is characterized by having an upright, diamond shaped habit and not having a rounded top. Long, dark green needles. Growth expectations are only 10' tall in 20 years. Use as a specimen. Site in full sun in moist, well-drained soil.
