Comments: A small to medium size deciduous tree that has a rounded outline and can grow 20-40' tall. Rich green summer foliage turns orange to red in fall. Inconspicuous small, green flowers occur on 6-8" long corymbs and produce a red pea-sized berry later on. Naked terminal buds resemble praying hands. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Is pH adaptable and withstands drought and polluted air.
