Comments: Rare! Expected to grow 40-50' tall in central Ohio. This oriental spruce differs from other spruce species in having more gray and very flaky bark. Its cones are 4-5" long. Needles are long and stout, often very glaucous giving the plant's foliage a bluish appearance.
