Comments: A deciduous conifer reputed to be of lesser stature although it grows vigorously. Feathery needles are bright green in summer turning orange-brown in fall. Grows 25-30' tall and half as wide in a narrowly conical habit. Its exfoliating and shredding bark is dark reddish-brown. Use as a specimen with winter interest.
