Comments: An upright, deciduous flowering shrub growing slowly 6-8' tall and wide. Dark green leaves, usually five in a cluster, occur at branch tips. The beautiful pale pink, fragrant flowers emerge early to mid-May. Adding to their beauty are the stamens protruding from the corollas. Excellent fall color of yellow, orange and crimson is the norm. This azalea is adaptable to higher pH soil than many others. Use in the mixed border and along walk-ways. Site in part sun in moist, well-drained soil.
