Comments: This upright, deciduous flowering tree grows to 25' tall and wide. New leaves are purple-red maturing dark green. Red-purple to crimson flowers are 1 1/2" in diameter in late April. The fruit are dark red, 1 1/2" in diameter. This tree shows some disease resistance.
