Comments: Hybridized by the late Father John Fiala of Falconskeape, near Medina, Ohio, this small tree has a rounded habit, growing to 15' with dark reddish green leaves. Bright orange-red buds open to bright red flowers. Fruit is bright red and only ½" in diameter. Bark is unique for a crab apple, resembling more like that of a cherry.
