Comments: A introduction from National Arboretum growing about 20' tall and 12' wide with an upright, columnar habit. Flowers are white, tinged red and occur in April-May. Fruit is 1/2", red to orange-red and hold into winter. Fall color is yellow-brown. Reported to be highly disease resistant. Excellent specimen tree or grouped with other trees to add early color.
