Comments: A small deciduous tree, usually multi-stemmed or low branched to around 20' tall by 10-15' wide. Leaves are lustrous deep green, 4-7" long. Light yellow flowers, 2-3" wide, open in June. Fruit is a follicle, held upright and composed of several orange to red seeds that ripen in September or October. A fine specimen for late flowering accent.
