Comments: At maturity this tree may reach 20-30' tall, developing a slender, conical form. The white, drooping flowers can be as large as 7" across. Distinct reddish new growth. Good specimen tree. Adaptable as to soil types, but avoid excessively wet or compacted sites. Full sun is best, but also can grow in part shade.
