A deciduous tree with large, early spring yellow flowers and developing as a semi-dwarf. A compact upright conical habit, only 7' tall in ten years is covered in early May with numerous bright yellow 4.5" flowers over a long period, up to four weeks. This is one of the more popular yellow flowering hardy magnolias. A wonderful small, flowering specimen tree. Leach hybrid.
