Comments: This fast and neat-growing deciduous tree has an upright conical habit, 18-20' tall and nearly as wide at maturity. It blooms with precocious, deep yellow flowers that have 10-16 tepals with red stamens at its center. Individual flowers can be up to 5" across. This is one of the more popular yellow flowering hardy magnolias. Site in full sun to light shade in moist, well-drained soil in spring only. A wonderful specimen or small flowering shade tree.
