Comments: A National Arboretum Little Girl Series selection that presents an upright shrubby growth habit to 8-12'. Showy 2-4" red-purple tinged-with-white flowers appear in early spring, before the leaves, in mid-April. This is the earliest of the "girls" series of magnolias. Plant in spring, in moist, well-drained soil in full sun.
