Comments: Ultimate height of this deciduous tree is 150' tall with a long straight trunk but probably only half this height in the landscape. Large-growing deciduous tree with leaves wider than long, somewhat contorted with a wavy margin. Flowers are similar to magnolia, thus the source of the common name. They are mostly greenish fleshy petals with an orange center.
